Oh, it’s been too long since I’ve been able to get crafty! (Craft Room Status: Still Not Finished…) But this weekend I was fortunate to spend the weekend with a group of my best crafty friends. That is so good for my soul. And after a rough week, I was reminded of how lucky I am to have all the wonderful people in my life that I do.
Aaaanyway, enough of the sappy stuff… 😉
Look, I made a card! I’m playing along with the Color Throwdown this week.

You guys! It’s been over a month, but I finally got crafty again!!! Thanks goodness for good friends and regularly scheduled Crafty Saturdays! I can’t remember when I went this long without crafting. I moved at the beginning of January. And I had to clear out my storage unit. So my life for the last 2-1/2 months has consisted of moving boxes. So. Many. Boxes. Right now, I have a temporary craft room set up in my living room. My craft room is currently filled with boxes I need to sort through after emptying my storage unit. Anyway, Crafty Saturday gave me an excuse to take a break from boxes, pack up my crafty things, and spend the day crafting with friends. I took the opportunity to play along with the Color Throwdown. I used gold ink to color this cute little dragon’s horn, wings, claws, and belly. I used copic markers for the rest of him.
Stamps: Macical Dragons, Wavy Colring Book BG (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Cement Gray, Black Licorice, Gold Sparkle (MFT)
Ink: Black Licorice Hybrid, Cement Gray (MFT); Delicata Gold

Seriously last minute here, but I was feeling the Valentine groove for the Color Throwdown this week.

Paper: Pink Lemonade, Wild Cherry, Milk Chocolate (MFT)
Ink: Wild Cherry (MFT)
Dies: Abstract Heart, Stitched Banner Alphabet, Blueprints 13 (MFT)

So here’s a pretty good clue that I’m running short on time – I make a card with no stamping involved. But, when it’s 9:30 on Sunday and tomorrow is a work-day, you do what you have to. 😉 So this is my (non-stamped) card playing along with the Color Throwdown.
Paper: Primitive White, Kraft, Gravel Gray, Wild Cherry (MFT)
Dies: Stitched Flowers, Words for Friends, Blueprints 13 (MFT)
I’m working out of a temporary crafty space right now, and I also started this card at 10pm on Sunday night. So clearly I needed a quick and easy card to play along with the Color Throwdown. Dies to the rescue! And the colors aren’t quite right, but it’s as close as I can get with what I have available at the moment!
Paper: Smooth White, Pineapple, Cornflower, Black Licorice, Vellum (MFT)
Dies: Many Thanks, Chevron Segments Cover-Up (MFT)
Accessories Enamel Dots
I spent a fabulous Saturday with my crafty friends. And let me tell you, spending a day crafting and chatting is so good for my soul. And boy did I need it after a week back at work following the holidays. I’m playing along with the Color Throwdown with this card.

I’m playing along with the last Color Throwdown of 2016. I managed to play along all year without missing one. Not bad! So I found this patterned paper that fit the colors perfectly, added some sparkly green trees, a sentiment, and it’s a Christmas card. (No promises if it gets sent out or not…)
Stamps: Toasty Greetings (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Merry & Bright, Sour Apple Sparkle (MFT)
Ink: Black Licorice (MFT)
Dies: Winter Trees, Stitched Triple Peek-A-Boo Window and Edge, Blueprints 13 (MFT)
I’m playing along wiht the current Color Throwdown. I decdided to use these colors for a little bit different holiday card.

I took my inspiration from more than just the colors for the current Color Throwdown. I was inspired by the sparkle and shine in the picture as well. Glittery colorful snowflakes are lots more fun than the snowflakes currently falling outside. (I know, it’s December. And I’d truly rather have this than 90 degrees, but still…)
Stamps: Winter Wonderland (MFT)
Paper: Smooth White, Black Licorice, Sour Apple Sparkle, Cornflower Sparkle, Pure Plum Sparkle (MFT)
Dies: Stylish Snowflakes, Blueprints 11, Blueprints 2 (MFT)
