Let There Be Peace on Earth

I think there may have been some shift in the universe this month. Here it is, over a week ahead of the deadline & I have my card finished for the November Sketch For You To Try. Now, in truth I have actually had this done for about a week now & have just gotten around to posting. (Hey, I said there may have been a shift in the universe, not that it had come screeching to a stop…)

I was feeling Christmassy so I used this jingle bell image from MFT along with patterned paper from PTI. It’s hard to see in the picture, but the edges on the image panel are inked with metallic silver ink to add a bit of shimmer to the card.

Stamps: Inspired By – Christmas (MFT)
Paper: Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, Holiday Vintage Prints (PTI); Copic Blending Stock (X-Press)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); Platinum Planet, Starlite Silver (Brilliance); Lichen (a Muse)
Accessories: Award Winning Ribbon die (MFT); Copics; Nestabilities Rectangles (Spellbinders); Baker’s Twine (The Twinery); rhinestones
Card Size:4-1/4×5-1/2
Sketch:SFYTT November 2011
