When I saw this little cuties coat, the first thing I thought of was a worn comfy handmade quilt. So, I broke out the water-coloring for this cutie pie for a nice soft look. I broke out the Decorative Doily Die-namic to cut out some felt. I placed the sentiment on part of a Framed Greetings die cut. Some Crochet Ribbon and a Rolled Rose finish it off. Doesn’t that look cozy?
Oh and as proof of how playing with the Temp Team this month has challenged me, check out the edges of the card. Yep, that’s sewing on there. First card I’ve used the sewing machine on. Mind you, it’s only going to work with a shabby look until I learn how to sew straight, but it’s a start!
I finished off the inside with more patterned paper and more sewing.
